Terms & Conditions

House of TADE · Last updated:

These Website Terms & Conditions apply when you use the House of TADE website, browse our catalogue, contact us or use our Request a Quote facility. By using our website, you agree to them, so please read them before you send us an enquiry.

If you go on to hire products or services from us, our Hire Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy will also apply.

1. About House of TADE

House of TADE and TADE Event Hire are trading names of TADE Holdings Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11670515.

Our registered office is 7 The Drive, Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0SY. Our trading address is Unit 1C, Snetterton Business Park, Harling Road, Snetterton, NR16 2JU.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean TADE Holdings Limited, trading as House of TADE. “You” and “your” mean anyone using our website or requesting a quote.

We hire out event furniture, tableware, linen, décor, floral accessories and other event equipment. We also provide related services such as delivery, setup, collection and styling support.

Our website lets you browse our hire collection, build a quote list and send us a quote request. Bookings are not made or paid for through the website.

2. Using our website

You may use our website to:

  • browse our hire collection
  • view product information and specifications
  • add products to your quote list
  • request a quotation
  • contact us about an event or booking
  • find information about our services

You must not misuse our website. This includes trying to gain unauthorised access to it, interfering with how it works, introducing malicious software or using it for any unlawful purpose.

We may restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary for security or maintenance, or to protect our services.

3. Product catalogue

We aim to show and describe our products as accurately as we reasonably can.

Photographs, dimensions, materials, colours and descriptions are there to help you choose suitable items. Colours and finishes may look slightly different in person because of lighting, photography and screen settings, and individual items can vary slightly.

Every item is cleaned and checked before it goes out. Because our products are hired for many events, some may show minor signs of normal use.

If exact dimensions matter for your venue or design, please confirm them with us before your booking is confirmed.

4. Product availability

Products shown on our website may not be available on every date. Availability depends on your event date, the quantities you need, existing bookings and the hire period.

Showing a product on our website does not guarantee that it is available.

5. Request a Quote

Our Request a Quote facility lets you choose the products you are interested in and tell us about your event. Your quote list is shown on our website as your Cart, and you send your request through our Checkout page. No payment is taken through the website.

Adding a product to your quote list, or sending a quote request:

  • does not create a booking
  • does not reserve any products
  • does not create a hire contract

When we receive your request, we will review your requirements and may contact you for more information. We will then confirm availability and send you a quotation.

6. Quotations

Your quotation may take into account:

  • the products and quantities you need
  • the hire period
  • your event date
  • the delivery and collection location
  • access at your venue
  • setup or installation requirements
  • collection arrangements
  • any additional services you ask for

Your quotation will set out the charges, the deposit and any other payment needed to confirm your booking.

A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. If no period is stated, it is valid for 14 days from the date we send it.

The prices in a valid quotation are held, but a quotation does not reserve products. They remain available to other customers until your booking is confirmed.

If you change your requirements after receiving a quotation, such as quantities, venue, date or services, we may send you an updated quotation.

7. When a booking is confirmed

Sending a quote request does not confirm a booking. Your quotation will explain what you need to do to secure your booking.

A booking is confirmed only when:

  • we have confirmed it to you in writing, including by email, and
  • you have met any requirements set out in your quotation, such as paying a deposit.

Until then, products remain subject to availability.

Once your booking is confirmed, our Hire Terms & Conditions, our Cancellation Policy and any terms in your quotation or booking confirmation will apply.

If these documents conflict, your quotation or booking confirmation takes priority, followed by our Hire Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy, and then these Website Terms & Conditions.

8. Prices

Prices shown on our website are the standard hire price for each item or set listed, and include VAT where applicable.

Your quotation will confirm the total price for your event, based on the quantities, hire period and services you need.

Delivery, collection, setup and dismantling are quoted separately, based on your venue location and requirements. Extended hire periods and other additional services are also charged separately where they apply. All charges will be shown in your quotation before you book.

Where a charge cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain how it will be worked out before your booking is confirmed.

9. Delivery, collection and setup

Delivery, collection and setup are subject to availability and to what we agree with you. Any charges will be shown in your quotation.

Please give us accurate information about your venue and tell us about any access restrictions, such as stairs, lifts, restricted loading areas, parking limits or venue opening hours.

Our Hire Terms & Conditions explain your responsibilities for venue access, and what happens if conditions at the venue differ from what we were told.

10. Cancellations and changes

If you need to change or cancel a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made in writing, by email to contact@houseoftade.co.uk.

Deposits, cancellation charges and refunds are set out in our Cancellation Policy, and your quotation will confirm which terms apply before you book.

11. Website accounts

If you create an account on our website, please keep your login details confidential and your account information accurate.

Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without your permission.

We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, fraud or a security concern.

12. Website availability

We aim to keep our website available and working properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, upgrades, security or reasons outside our reasonable control. We may also update website content, features or product information without notice.

We do not guarantee that our website will be free from errors or viruses, so please use your own virus protection.

15. Content you send us

If you send us photographs, event details, reviews, testimonials or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it with us.

We will not use your photographs or event images for promotion just because you sent them through a quote request or contact form.

If we want to use identifiable photographs or other content you have provided for marketing, we will first ask for any permission needed.

16. Privacy and personal information

When you send an enquiry or quote request, we collect information such as your name, contact details, event date, venue details and requirements.

We use this information in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and who we share it with.

17. Cookies

Our website uses cookies it needs to work properly, such as cookies that remember the items in your quote list and keep you logged in.

We do not currently use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies. If we introduce them, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.

You can find out more in the cookies section of our Privacy Policy.

18. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

If you use our website or services for business purposes, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by your own misuse of our website.

Our responsibility for hired products and services is also covered by our Hire Terms & Conditions.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms where reasonably necessary, for example to reflect changes to our website, services, business practices or the law.

The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.

Changes will not affect a booking that is already confirmed, unless you agree or the law allows.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under consumer law.

You can bring legal proceedings about these terms in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
